The information generated from this system is considered primary source verification by the ND Board of Nursing and is real time with the Board's licensure/registration database.

Verification of licenses, permits, & graduate
work authorizations:
To access the verification system you will need:

Social Security Number
RN/LPN license number
UAP/MA registry number

Verify UAP/Technician/MA
  1. Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN)
  2. Specialty Practice Registered Nurses (SPRN)
  3. Registered Nurses (RN)
  4. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
  5. To verify compact licenses in other states, check with that state board of nursing.
Verification of registry status & permits:
  1. Unlicensed Assistive Person/Technician
  2. Medication Assistant III
Verification of disciplinary history
  1. Discipline History displays on each licensee's/registrant's record along with a link for the discipline public records.
  2. The Board Orders attached are certified as true and correct copies by the ND Board of Nursing.
  3. To verify ND disciplinary action against a licensee's privilege to practice who is licensed in another compact state check www.nursys.com.
The North Dakota Department of Health maintains the Certified Nurse Aide and Nurse Aide Registries. Please access the ND Department of Health's verification website at https://www.ndhealth.gov/hf/registry/inquiry-search.aspx or call them at 328-2353 to verify the Certified Nurse Aide Registry Data.
