Nursys recently made a system-wide update to a large number of historical records. As a result, some nurses may receive automated notifications through e-Notify indicating that their license has changed or expired.

This update specifically affects individuals who were issued a work permit. Nursys added required disclaimer language to both current and past work permit records. Because of this, you may receive a message from Nursys even if your current license status has not changed.

To confirm your license status, please log into your Nurse Portal account at https://ndbon.boardsofnursing.org/ndbn/ or use the public license verification page at https://ndbon.boardsofnursing.org/licenselookup.

There is no action required unless you verify that your current license status is incorrect.
