ACADEMIC

The North Dakota Board of Nursing periodically reviews and approves nursing education programs. The purpose of the review is to ensure that graduates of nursing education programs are prepared to provide safe and effective nursing care. See the list of the board approved programs.

The board also approves Intravenous therapy courses for LPNs and refresher courses for RNs and LPNs.

Medication Assistant I and Medication Assistant II courses are approved by the board. Information for Medication Assistant I & II is included with the Unlicensed Assistive Person information.
